Unveil started with a personal frustration. As a PM, I’d spent years scaling research programs — stitching together fragmented tools, chasing approvals, and building workarounds just to get the right people into a study. It worked, barely. But it shouldn’t have been that hard.

When we started talking to research and product leaders at B2B companies, we realized the problem was bigger. Recruiting the right participants meant navigating Sales gatekeepers and waiting days for a data analyst to pull a list that still wasn’t built for research. Outreach happened without enough account context. And as programs grew, so did the operational complexity — more researchers, more studies, more tools, but no single system holding it together.

And the problem didn’t end when the research was done. The readout happened. The Notion doc was shared. The Slack message went out. But the connection between research and the decisions it influenced remained invisible. There was no clear way to show what changed because of a study — or prove the value of the work.

We spoke to 250+ research, design, and product leaders before writing a line of code. What we heard made the problem clearer — and bigger — than we’d anticipated.

Unveil is what we built in response.
